In Petersburg the sun came out just before we sailed out of the harbor and that gives me the excuse for another post, showing the final few minutes in Petersburg and the sunny sail out.
As we sailed into Fredrick Sound we ran into and out of fog as we cruised into Thomas Bay for an afternoon of kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. I opted to sit in the sun reading and watching everyone else splash and play around.
A good number of our cruise mates took a fast boat on an excursion to the LeConte Glacier and rejoined us in Thomas Bay.
After Thomas Bay, we headed toward the Native village of Kake, and anchored up outside an old cannery for the night.
