On Day two in Buenos Aires we actually hopped off the bus at an area that was originally supposed to be the port area for the city. It had canals and docks for ships that were cut into the fill. It reminded me of London’s Docklands. But the Rio Plata kept delivering its silt from upstream and the place kept filling up, and not with just water. The port was moved to an area easier to dredge and this area became a residential and entertainment district. From there we walked on a viaduct over the railroad tracks to Plaza Mayo where the presidency and cathedral are located. Then we went down Florida St., the walking and shopping street, to pick up the shuttle back to the ship (There were complications) at General Sen Martin Square.
Here are pictures from that walk.

I have no idea why a tour company would put big decals on windows, especially the front windows on the upper deck of a sightseeing bus. But for people who have trouble with the stairs to the upper deck the side decals can also be annoying.

This picture was from our cabin balcony at sunset. I toss it in as an extra.

Great pictures as always. Appreciate how you are sharing your trip with the rest of us.
