When you google Wide Open Walls, Gambia the Village you are most likely to see come up is Galloya. It is close to the airport and easy to get to. It is the center of the Wide Open Walls Project in the Ballabu Conservation Zone in The Gambia, about an hour outside the capital city Banju. The four Villages that participated in the project are Kubuneh, where it started, and which was featured in an earlier blog, Mkumbaya, featured in a 2018 blog post, Bafuloto and Galloya.

After visiting Kubuneh we traveled to the other towns and took these pictures of some of the street art. It is better maintained than the art in Kubuneh. You can see more of the splash and color on the walls of these villages.

Here are two street scenes from Galloya I decided to add.

In the final blog post from The Gambia I will return to Kubuneh, because there is far more to the village than painted walls.
