Approaching and departing Port Arthur from the sea is breathtaking. We sailed in around Cape Pilar and out round Cape Raoul with rock formations called “The Organ Pipes” that reminded me of the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. Please enjoy the pictures from this memorable sail by. The Captain brought us in as closely as he and the pilot through prudent. He said he thought within 5 cables (Half a nautical mile.) It is very deep off the cliffs.

Great photo’s. We visited the Giants Causeway while in Ireland, and were amazed at it. There are so many more though of the Organ Pipes . They are certainly interesting. Thanks for sharing.
