I have been posting pictures of Autumn in Southeast. And while it is overcast today with a storm coming in, last week we had some clear and frosty mornings. I got up to the muskeg on the connector trail between Cross Trail and Indian River a little too late to catch the full effect of the frost. But there was still a thin skin of ice on the potholes and in some of the shade by the low brush some frost.

Love the pics, which prompt a question. Do you get what we New Englanders call “Indian Summer”? (as someone who lived in New Jersey I expect you have heard the term, but other readers might not have)
It’s the days of lovely, warm weather that happen after the first frost. We have had a frost, and the last couple of days (with a prediction for a few more) have been in the high 60s and 70s. Precise definition of Indian Summer.
